Morning Prayer

Almighty God, you sit upon the circle of the earth, and you command the morning. We enter your presence crying Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy on us. Thank you for bringing us into a new week. Thank you for new mercies. Forgive our short comings, we pray. Lead and guide us in the way we should go. Look kindly upon us, today. Some of us are struggling spiritually, and financially. Some of us are barely hanging on. Some of us are in emotional, and physical pain. Some of us are at the end of our ropes. But wherever we find ourselves, we acknowledge that you are our God, and we are your people. Lift the burdens. Ease the pains. Comfort those that mourn. Give us strength sufficient for this day.
